Assistant Research Professor

 

I am an NCAS Research Scientist working with Prof. Alex Archibald in the Centre for Atmospheric Science. I use atmospheric chemistry-climate models to investigate climate- and composition-related questions, with a particular focus on understanding the sources and removal mechanisms of atmospheric methane, a potent greenhouse gas, and the environmental implications of hydrogen as an emerging energy pathway. 

From 2023-2025 I led knowledge exchange activities for the Environmental Implications of Hydrogen Energy programme, funded by NERC and the Department of Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ). Further information on research in the programme can be found here: https://h2envimpacts.org.uk/ .

• July 2025: The PACESETTERS project launches one of its Real-World Labs (RWL) in Galway, marking a key milestone in the project's mission to connect creative practice with climate transformation.
